Addons: the announcement bar

Addons is where small extras for your shop live, starting with the announcement bar: a strip that scrolls above your header on every page, saying something you choose. Setting it up Open Customization in your menu, then Addons. Write up to six short lines — delivery terms, a new collection, anything worth a shopper seeing whichever page they land on. Leave the rest blank; only the lines you write appear, and they scroll on their own in the order you wrote them. The preview above the boxes is the real thing, not a mock-up — it moves at the same speed your shop will use. Write what is true These lines sit above every page of your shop, so they read as a promise. If you write "Free shipping on orders over ₦500,000", your delivery settings should actually say that, or a shopper who orders ₦600,000 and is still charged for delivery has a real complaint. If you leave it empty Nothing appears, and your shop looks exactly as it did before — no empty bar, no gap where it would have been. Plans The announcement bar is part of the Chairman plan, the same as the homepage banner and the About page. If you move to a lower plan, what you wrote is kept and stops showing, and comes back if you return.
