Money

Taking payments

How money gets from a shopper to your bank.

Payments are handled by Paystack. A shopper pays with a card, and the money goes to your own bank account. Weblanda takes 0% of your sales. You pay for your plan and nothing else. What actually happens: 1. The shopper pays on your shop. 2. Paystack splits the payment. Your share goes to your own account. 3. Paystack settles to your bank, usually the next working day. Paystack charges a fee of 1.5% plus 100 naira, and that fee comes out of your share. The 100 naira is waived on orders under 2,500 naira. If your shop has no bank account saved, checkout is switched off. That is deliberate. We would rather stop a sale than take money we have nowhere to send.
