Understanding your Analytics page

One report for how your shop is doing — sales, orders, products, customers and marketing.

Analytics is a report on your shop, separate from the Overview page. Overview is what needs your attention today; Analytics is how the shop has actually been doing, over whichever stretch of time you choose. Choosing a period At the top of the page, pick a period: the last 7, 30 or 90 days, the last 12 months, or all time. Every number and chart on the page updates to that period, and it stays chosen as you move between the tabs below. Sales Your revenue, how many orders were placed and paid, and your average order value, with a chart of revenue over the period. If your plan includes Expenses, this tab also shows what the shop spent over the same period and what was left over. Orders How your orders split by payment status (paid, pending, failed) and by fulfilment status (new, processing, shipped, completed, cancelled), how much you have given away in discounts, how much you have collected for delivery, and the orders placed in the period. Products Your total products, how much stock you are holding, and what that stock is worth at your selling prices. Your best sellers for the period, and — if your plan includes categories — which categories are earning the most. Customers How many customers you have altogether, how many are new in this period, how many have bought more than once, and your best customers by what they have spent with you. Marketing If your plan includes coupons, which codes are actually being used and what they have cost you in discounts. If your plan includes the newsletter, your subscriber count and how it is growing. If your plan has neither, this tab explains what upgrading would add rather than showing you an empty page. Downloading a report Download, at the top of the page, saves whichever tab you are looking at as a spreadsheet file — the trend, the order list, the best sellers, your top customers, or your coupon performance, matching the period you have chosen. Who can see this Analytics is for whoever runs the shop day to day: you, and any manager you have added. Staff who help with products and orders do not see it — it goes further than their part of the shop.
