Selling

Sharing a cart

How a shopper sends their basket to whoever is paying.

On your shop, a shopper can send their whole basket to someone else as a link. They tap "Share this cart" under the pay button, and get a link they can send on WhatsApp. Whoever opens it sees the same items, and can pay for them. Why this matters: the person choosing is often not the person paying. Someone picks what they want and sends it to a parent, a partner, or whoever is covering it. Without this, that conversation happens in screenshots and "the blue one, second row" — and a lot of those never turn into orders. A few things worth knowing. The link shows today's prices, not the prices from when it was shared. If you change a price, anyone opening an older link pays the new one. Nothing can lock in an old price. Items that sell out drop off the link, and the person opening it is told which ones. They are never quietly charged for something you no longer have. Links stop working after 30 days. Opening a link adds the items to whatever the person already had in their cart. It does not wipe their own basket. You do not have to switch this on. It works on every plan, and there is nothing to configure.
